Baseball
The origin of baseball is an informal offshoot of the English sport of cricket called rounders. Americans began playing baseball in the early 1800. Alexander Cartwright of New York invented the modern baseball field in 1845 and also he wrote the first rule and regulations for the game. The first game in U.S. history officially recorder took place on June 19, 1846 the game was played in Hoboken, New Jersey. The teams played only four innings and the New York Nine defeated the Kninkerbockers, 23-1.
